REQUEST FOR PRICE QUOTES
ROAD PAVING PROJECT - OXBOW ROAD, OXBOW, MAINE

The County of Aroostook is soliciting price quotes from qualified contractors for a road paving project located on Oxbow Road in Oxbow, Maine.

Project Scope:
- Approximately 1.0 mile of roadway (patch work/sections of road).
- Approximately 20 feet wide.
- All materials and work must conform to Maine DOT Specification §401.
- Project includes:
- One (1) 2-inch lift of 12.5 mm DOT Base Mix.
- One (1) 1½-inch lift of 12.5 mm DOT Surface Mix.
- Ground and tack at project starting point.
- Sweep and tack on existing surface shall be incidental to the project.

Contractor Responsibilities:
The contractor shall provide and be responsible for all project signage, traffic control, flaggers, and required safety equipment. Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the project site prior to submitting a quote. A County representative is available to meet contractors on site upon request.

PROJECT MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 30, 2026.

Forms must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "County of Aroostook - Oxbow Road Paving Project 2026", and delivered no later than 12:30 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026. Please submit price quotes to:
