For Engineering Services
The Town of Fort Kent, Maine (hereinafter referred to as the "Town") is seeking qualifications from engineering firms for Planning, Design and Construction Support Services to assist the Town with a variety of future projects. Work may include assisting with obtaining funding for water, wastewater, stormwater and civil projects, building evaluations, feasibility studies, the evaluation of permitting requirements and the necessary design and construction administration. Design projects may cover a wide range of activities and encompass but not limited to Storm Water Management Systems, Sewer Line Installation and Replacement, Wastewater Treatment Plant Evaluations and Upgrades, Water Treatment Plant Evaluations and Upgrades, Sewer Collection and Drinking Water Line Installation and Replacements, Road Construction and Rehabilitation, Building Rehabilitation Projects, Site Development Planning and various economic and community grant initiative projects. Larger projects may require the firm to oversee and inspect construction projects to ensure safety and design standards meet compliance. The selected firm may be required to submit a not-to-exceed lump sum price for any required work in advance of being awarded a project by the Town.
